What Does That Look Like

Because my approach in working with people is highly personal, we will explore what healing would look like for you. 

We will allow sufficient time to explore and set goals for treatment.  It is important that we can both get a felt sense that we can work well together.  I'll need for you to share your views, input your ideas, give feedback on the process, and share your own expertise in the goal-setting process. 

Problems I Work With

Anxiety can be a very debilitating condition. For some people, it can interfere with school, work, relationships, and general life.  I work with you, using evidence-based approaches, tailored to you, for the best results.

Can't sleep?  Or the sleep you get is not the deep sleep that you crave and need?  Using a variety of evidence-based approaches, we will customize a treatment for you, so that you can get the sleep you need.

Trauma is not your fault, and we can work together to heal in a way that is not requiring you to relive it AGAIN.  Using a variety of evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, clinical hypnosis, and other approaches, you can heal and return to LIFE!

Please note:  at this time, for your safety and those of others, as we practice physical distancing, I am taking clients via telehealth.  This means that I can talk with you online, through video services that are similar to Skype or FaceTime.  I am here to help you in a meaningful way.

If your situation is such that you are unable to do telehealth, I can still take in-person appointments.

Clinical Hypnosis

According to current treatment research, clinical hypnosis is one of the safest, most effective treatments which may help to allow both the body and mind to relax and let go of the anxiety and traumas that you have lived with.

Clinical hypnosis may also increase the amount of time that you spend in slow-wave sleep by as much as 80 percent.

Clinical hypnosis is also useful for working with many other issues besides sleep.

Fees and Insurance Information

I am an in-network provider for many insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, United HealthCare/Optum, and TRICARE.

Please note that I cannot take Medicare supplemental insurance at this time.

For all other insurance companies, I am considered an out of network provider.  Some insurance companies will reimburse you for out of network services.  You can submit a Medical Receipt for reimbursement with an app called Reimbursify, and you can get reimbursed for some of the cost of services. 

Please be aware that insurance companies will require that I submit a diagnosis, progress reports and treatment plans that reveal your personal information, to get approval for future visits, and there is no absolute guarantee that information will remain private and confidential. Clients acknowledge and understand that they are waiving their right to confidentiality with respect to records and information requested by their insurance company.


Initial 50 minute Evaluation Session: $150
